Other Chemical Testing
Azodye Testing
Azodye almost exists in all colours as one of the most widely-used synthetic dyestuffs in printing technique (for textiles). It is used for dyeing and printing of natural and synthetic fibres, also for the colouring of paints, plastics and rubber.
Formaldehyde Testing
Formaldehyde (molecular formula: HCHO) is colorless and has a pungent, irritating odour. As a toxicant, it can also interact with proteins. So inhaling of high concentration of formaldehyde may lead to severe irritation and inflammability to respiratory tract, eye irritation, headache, bronchus and asthma. Furthermore, dermatitis, stains and necrosis would be caused if it comes in direct contact with the skin. Formaldehyde is easily dissolved in water, alcohol and ether. Its water solution with 35% to 40% formaldehyde is also known as “formalin”, which is commonly applied as a preservative. In addition, it is widely applied as reactants in finishing auxiliaries for textiles, such as resin finishing agents, fixing agent, softener and bender. In our daily life, we may find formaldehyde present in synthetic textiles, garments, leather, bedding and curtains.
Textile Physical Testing
Apart from hazardous substance testing, textiles shall also go through a serious of physical tests to ensure whether products are fit, their reaction during washing, use properties in buildings and flammability. The tests help to assess product safety and other quality indexes. C&K Testing can render our customers with textile physical testing to win market competition by removing trade barriers.
PH Value Testing
In chemistry, pH (Potential Hydrogen) is a measure of the acidity or basicity of an aqueous solution. Pure water is neutral, with a pH close to 7.0 at 25 °C (77 °F). Solutions with a pH less than 7 are said to be acidic and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 is a normative document, published by the International Association for Research and Testing in the field of Textile Ecology (OEKO-TEX®). As the most widely used requirements on ecological textiles, majority of textiles are tested as per the standard to ensure their chemical safety. Ecological textile standards in countries are also formulated by referring to Oeko-Tex®Standard 100, such as GB/T 18885 Technical Specifications on Ecological Textiles (Chinese Standard).

Luggage Physical Testing
Besides hazardous substance testing, luggage shall also go through a serious of physical tests to assess performance and mechanical safety (such as strength, durability and stability) for the products or materials. C&K Testing can render our customers with luggage physical testing to win market competition by removing trade barriers.
Footwear Physical Testing
Besides hazardous substance testing, footwear shall also go through a serious of physical tests to assess product safety and other quality indexes. C&K Testing can render our customers with footwear physical testing to win market competition by removing trade barriers.
